Welcome to Westminster Rotaract!

The Westminster Rotaract Club was officially established on January 5th of this year and we are excited to be up and running! We have been working on our own, as well as in conjunction with the Sugarhouse, Salt Lake, and Hispano-Latino Rotary Clubs and so far we've already had a lot of great experiences!

For those of you who don't know what Rotaract is and would like to learn more, please visit the official Rotaract site. For those of you who are less adventurous on the internet and don't want to click on the link, here is an excerpt from the site anyway.

Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30. Rotaract clubs are either community or university based, and they’re sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes them true "partners in service" and key members of the family of Rotary.

How does it work?

All Rotaract efforts begin at the local, grassroots level, with members addressing their communities’ physical and social needs while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service.

While our Rotaract Club is technically the Westminster Rotaract Club, students from any university are welcome! We have students from ITT Tech, U of U, SLCC, and more! We want to be able to create a club for everyone and get people involved and participating before we branch off to individual university clubs.

So far we've had great success! We will keep you all updated about any upcoming events, as well as let you know post-event information. We'll even post our meeting minutes and other important information for anyone who would like to learn more about our club.

Please visit our Facebook page and keep up with all the activities and opportunities we have!
